you see, part of me is like “don’t post a million pictures of yourself, blackout day isnt an excuse to be vain” but then the other part of me is like “fuck off insecurity, today is a day to be proud and feel beautiful in my black skin”
and that’s just it. society has taught you to love yourself but not too much. it’s also told us what is “beautiful” and quite typically it’s white feauture. so this day is rather important. lets blackout the internet. lets show that black is beautiful too.
